Launch of British Recycled Paint10/07/2009 Return to news archive
Yorkshire based Low Carbon Products Ltd. has released its 23 colour range of interior emulsion. Using paint collected from household waste recycling centres, each pot of British Recycled Paint contains 90-95% recycled paint.
Production of the paint currently reuses five tonnes of paint each week; paint which would have otherwise gone to landfill or been incinerated.
The company will supply British Recycled Paint to public sector organisations like councils, schools and housing associations as well as trade and business customers. Low Carbon Products also plan to release an antibacterial range specifically for application in Health and Education buildings, whilst making the range available to the public via a small selection of carefully chosen distributors.
