Tendring Reuse and Employment Enterprise (TREE) of Essex who also run Community RePaint project scooped the 'Furniture Reuse Organisation of the Year 2008' last week at the Furniture Reuse Network's annual conference.
Spokesperson for the judges, FRN President Richard Featherstone, said: “TREE have been an inspiration to other projects all year, willing to help other projects with WEEE opportunities and contracts while continuing to be a good all-round project in their local community by distributing furniture and fridges where they are most needed.”
