This month, Community RePaint has been featured in a popular UK-wide trade magazine; Professional Painter and Decorator Magazine. The publication has included details on how tradesmen can donate their paint to local schemes, which results in decreasing treatments costs and environmental impact of waste paint products. The article explains how the paint donated will be used by community projects and individuals.
ince the national publication ran the article, we have had lots of phone calls from painters and decorators with excess paint and we are continuing to work hard to match them with the most suitable scheme .
Community RePaint is a brilliant solution to the problem of excess paint for tradesmen. Often, when quoting for a job, it is necessary to purchase more than enough paint - they wouldn't want to get to the end of a wall and run out! This means that tradesmen are left with an abundance of new or partly used tins of paint.
Painters and decorators are given further information and it is always stressed that Community RePaint is not a waste disposal or treatment service - therefore the paint that they donate has be of a useable quality and quantity.
