Please enter your postcode below or click on the map to find your nearest Community RePaint project.
Community, voluntary groups and charities:
If you think your local community group, amateur sports club or charity could use paint to redecorate their premises, please don’t hesitate to contact your local Community RePaint project (you can do this by using the postcode locator on the right). It would be helpful to let them know the type of paint you need, as well as the quantity and any colour preference.
Individuals in need:
Individuals in social need may also apply for paint. This includes those on income support, former homeless, refugees and asylum seekers amongst others. You may be asked for some kind of identification to verify your status.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide the people to carry out the redecoration for you; that’s up to you! However, we have developed links with Business in the Community and Community Service Volunteers who have volunteer programmes for refurbishment of community buildings and projects. You may also like to contact NAVCA (National Association for Voluntary and Community Action), Action for Employment or the National Probation Service who often run local redecoration projects providing work experience and job training for young people.
Donations for paint
As Community RePaint projects are usually local community groups and charities themselves operating on shoestring budgets, you may be asked for a small financial donation for the paint as a contribution towards their overheads. A very small number of projects actually sell the paint at low-cost (at a fraction of what you will pay in the shops).
Photographs
Please, please, please send any photographs of your redecorated buildings and/or action photos of the decorating being carried out to us with a line or two about what is going on. We’d love to use them in our monthly e-zine, on our website and other Community RePaint publicaions. Please send any digital photos to us by email with a line or two describing the pictures.
If you wish to use photographs for publicity purposes, please ensure that you have consent from the people being photographed.
Parents, schoolteachers or other appropriate officials should give authorisation for the use of photographs which contain children under eighteen years of age. This authorisation can be given quickly by completing this form.
