ICI Paints
ICI Paints, the makers of Dulux, has supported and sponsored Community RePaint since its inception in 1993 and forms part of their ongoing sustainability programme. They provide technical advice, conference speakers and general support to Resource Futures, as central managers of the network, as well as year-on-year financial sponsorship. This sponsorship enables long-term planning for Community RePaint and is used as match funding to attract Lottery and other grants. In 2004, Community RePaint won an ICI Chief Executive Award (Europe) for Community Involvement.
CRED (Community Recycling and Economic Development)
The CRED Programme, managed by the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts (RSWT) and nine consortium partners, distributes National Lottery money on behalf of the Big Lottery Fund under its Transforming Waste funding programme.
Launched in January 2003, the CRED Programme aims to guarantee that £36.5 million of Lottery funding, available for local recycling, reuse and composting, is delivered to meet the needs of disadvantaged communities in England, to improve their quality of life and achieve sustainable management of resources.

Big Lottery Fund
In October 2002 the Big Lottery Fund, a National Lottery good cause distributor, appointed the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts (RSWT) as an Award Partner under its Transforming Waste funding programme. RSWT will use its £36.5 million award to distribute grants through its Community Recycling and Economic Development (CRED) Programme. The Fund has appointed four Award Partners across the UK to distribute funding through schemes designed to expand community sector waste reuse, recycling or composting.
The Transforming Waste programme has been funded by the Big Lottery Fund, the joint operating name of the New Opportunities Fund and the National Lottery Charities Board (which made grants under the name of the Community Fund). The Big Lottery Fund, launched on 1 June 2004, is distributing half of all National Lottery good cause funding across the UK.
